(Namely, ‘Change’, the Co-operative Bank’s customer magazine.)

Trailing an article inside the magazine on the front cover:

“Family Finance: we had to budget for our baby, but she’s worth it!”

Well, thanks heavens for that. There’s nothing like forking out for Microsoft Excel only to find the focus of your budgeting is a complete waste of space.

They may not know the baby’s worth it yet. They should let her age a little, see how her personality develops before they make such an important judgment.

hmmmm. baby vs software. the eternal dilemma…..

i hate smug in-house magazines. we have them at work and they’re universally crap (except the bits kellycat writes – they’re merely wincingly patronising. but she does that on purpose).
