Boy, could the Floridian tourist authorities do with a break…

And top marks to the Ol’ Rooster, who figured out just what Mr/Ms X from Ontario were Googling for when they hit upon my blog. What it seems they were hoping to find was not information about affairs with a ‘phil’ but David Hume’s dissertation on the First Principles of Government (‘Nothing appears more surprising to those, who consider human affairs with a philosophical eye, than the easiness with which the many are governed by the few; and the implicit submission, with which men resign their own sentiments and passions to those of their rulers.’)

So, they were looking for wisdom from an Edinburgh-born inter-leck-choo-al, and hey! Isn’t that just what they got?! *smirks*

LOL! They’re trying to make us Yanks sound like a bunch of angry, gun-totin’ rednecks. Oh, wait…

Ah yes, once again I’m ashamed to be an American. Doesn’t take much these days.

I’m sure Mr/Mrs X have the divine insight to know that THIS is definitely the place to come for the accurate low -down on things related to parliament!
